Tarr Eye & Vision Center - Dedicated to Excellence in Family Eyecare

Community Outreach & Charity Initiatives

At Tarr Eye & Vision Center, we believe it is important to give back to the community and world in which we live and work. Because of this, we are involved in a number of local outreach and charity initiatives. We actively support Reformed University Fellowship at Carson-Newman University, Feeding the Orphans of Knoxville Tennessee, and the Life Outreach Center in Jefferson City. We also participate in the Lion's Club eyeglasses recycling program. We have been regularly involved in supplying eye exams and glasses to Jefferson County's needy and uninsured children through the Sight For Students program.

The number one reason in the world for loss of sight is not having the means to get a pair of glasses. Dr. Tarr has led and been a part of humanitarian trips to Mexico and Belize to donate eye glasses, provide eye exams, and treat eye disease. He is also proud to be a part of the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps which helps students and adults in the local area without the means to benefit from an eye exam and glasses.

Our Promises to Our Patients

At TEAVC we are dedicated to:

We want your visit to our office to be as easy and convenient as possible. We realize that each person has different visual requirements, concerns and questions. We welcome you calling us at any time to discuss your eye health.
