When you finally decide to have the procedure, you will need to adhere to pre-treatment instructions to ensure optimal results. You will be advised to avoid prolonged sun exposure and tanning creams on the areas needing treatment. Photo rejuvenation (IPL) sessions last anywhere from 15-30 minutes. During the procedure, a cooling gel is applied to the treatment area, and you will be provided protective eyewear. Most patients report a warm sensation as the handpiece touches the treatment area, but the treatment is gentle and should not feel uncomfortable.

Ptosis is a weakness in the muscle that controls the opening and closing of the eyelid.
